Fascinating, this whole Wachovia-WellsFargo-Citigroup deal!
Who do you suppose is the bigger shark, Citigroup or WellsFargo?
And in other news, it seems California might want to tap the Feds for a $7 billion dollar loan. Doesn't California have a seemingly disproportionate number of millionaires? Can't they do one of those little starving actor fundraisers and pay for it themselves? Piss off, and go stand in the back of the line.
Steve Fossett was a bit of a daredevil and it seems he died doing what he loved best. It might have been better if we'd never discovered what had become of him. I think he might have liked to remain shrouded in history's mystery.
Here in sunny Roswell, it is a pleasant 62 degrees outside, and 61 degrees inside my house. I'm wearing two sweaters and standing in the kitchen, working.
Happy Friday!

LOLOL at Ah-nold trying to get the 7 billion for his State. oo, you got me started. Is he kidding? What's the big emergency? It's not like we all don't need 7 billion. In fact, we're all in trouble - I'm sure your State is as well as mine. We've all been affected by this mortgage and Wall street mess together as a country. But you know, I just dont think it's right that California should get bailed out before Michigan.
That's another thing. This goes to show how uninformed California's voters were to vote for someone just cause he's a good actor. Never mind the fact he has no experience in the fields of finance and management and can't pronounce words.
But none of these things will deter them from asking for money.
Oh no. Ah-nold will bee boch.
Im with you on the whole debacle.
Last year thr Aug07 surprise woke me up and I started doing a lot of research. It saved me some because by Nov I had adjusted most of 401K and investments for the eventual storm.
Last week, I emailed my Senator and told I was against the bailout for the same reasons you named. And yes, I know the consequences.
I told him to vote "PRESENT" .
